The amenities were great, with high-quality products such as a Dyson hair dryer and Bioderma cleanser. There was one laundromat, but it was enough."

"The room was quite spacious and clean. The hotel was also located near some great photo spots. There were many beautiful cafes nearby. I thought the hotel had a swimming pool, but it turns out the pool is only available for certain room types.However, it's too cold for swimming 😄. A shuttle car was available to pick you to and from the hotel and the gate . Breakfast at the hotel had two options: Chinese rice noodles and Western Spaghetti & Omelette, and they were tasty. The housekeeper Xiao Luo and Fei Fei are very helpful Xixi in explaining via WeChat as we don't understand Chinese."

Foreign translation is easy such as Baidu or Mr. Translator. They take consideration for Muslim diets, and delivery service is easy on Meituen. Open early is SALUT Cafe for coffee, and open late is YanYangJia Barbecue for snacks. This is a really comfortable open-air stay, with seating on the balcony, in the courtyard, and next to the lobby tea table and bar. Breakfast was a blessing. Facilities best."

As soon as we pulled up, the bellhop was right there to help with luggage and guide us to the front desk. Even though it was a busy check-in day, everything was handled efficiently without any long waits. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and genuine, not just robotic politeness. They spoke softly and patiently, and we were checked in very quickly. They thoroughly explained breakfast times and pool hours, and even shared tips on the best spots to catch the sunset, transportation to the ancient city, and local authentic eateries. I asked a ton of detailed questions, and they never showed any signs of impatience. Later, whether I needed help with transportation, luggage storage, or anything else, the front desk responded promptly and handled everything perfectly. Check-out was just as smooth; they even reminded us about the shuttle schedule and kindly helped load our luggage into the car. The hotel boasts stunning views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, the rooms are comfortable, and the local breakfast options are fantastic. The sincere and detailed service from the front desk team truly elevated our entire vacation experience, making it feel utterly relaxed and carefree. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Dali!"

The only possible downside for guests wanting to spend time in Dali ancient city is that one would need to commute for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay close to the Old Town!"

"Firstly the location is excellent, right near one of the gates into the ancient city. The street it is on is very busy with restaurants and shops all the way along, yet the rooms are quiet. The room was a very good size and the whole asthetics are pleasing and different. The bed was comfortable with air conditioning that you could control. I would have like some tea or coffee available for use as it is a basic thing and not available even at breakfast, AND there is so much tea and coffee shops around. I will say I saw some tea set up at the lobby area, but because no English was spoken by any staff, I am guessing they simply were not able to translate. The staff at the front desk were friendly and sent me a pre written message in English telling me about breakfast (limited but useful and quite nice). The only gripe about the room was the musty smell from the bathroom, and while the little window was open to ventelate the room, it was noisy from outside...so shutting the window at night solved the issue. Towels etc were changed every day and were nice quality. The curtains were good for blocking out light and I had 3 good nights sleep. There are nice little areas to sit and there is a nice little garden with views from the roof. Overall, this is a good hotel with only minor things being of any issue. The location and asthetics are excellent."

It's very close to the Erhai Lake Greenway, making it stress-free and comfortable for family travel. Getting to and from the ancient city was convenient, and our whole family was very satisfied."
